OUR SERVICES

Supporting your abilities and achieving goals.

Supported Individual Living (SIL)

We have shared accommodation in a variety of locations which are designed to support residents to develop their independence and participate in various activities and programs. The priority of our experienced carers is to ensure that each participant feels included, happy and safe.

Individual or group support as required by our clients
Our dedicated staff are confident and well trained to support our clients whatever their needs may be.

Your Personal Space
Your home is the place where you can feel comfortable to be yourself, build friendships, enjoy group time and activities, but you will also have the privacy of your own bedroom for your quiet time and personal items.

Short Term Accommodation (STA)

We understand that the unexpected happens. A sudden change in circumstance, an illness, a crisis or your carer may be unavailable for a short time. During these times, we are here to support you to have access to safe accommodation where you can receive the care you require.

Short Term Accommodation (STA) is a temporary supported accommodation for up to 6 weeks which is available through the Core funding of your plan.

STA services are quality respite programs where you will be looked after in a caring and supported environment. A perfect “home away from home” that you can enjoy over a weekend or a few weeks.

Day & Weekend Programs

At Live & Learn, we deliver individual and group programs that are tailored for people with disabilities so they can enjoy inclusive and fun activities.

As a standard, we place an emphasis on everyday life skills so that our participants can build on their confidence and social skills. Our programs vary based on participant interest to keep things interesting. We also love trying out something new, so if there’s a particular activity that catches your fancy, don’t hesitate to let us know!

At our Activity Centre we offer:

  • Innovative Technology – you can learn NEW IT skills.
  • Games Room – various types of games such as board games, arcade, X-box, air hockey and more.
  • Lots of fun activities and arts/crafts for our clients to participate in during their stay.
  • Sensory room.
  • Quiet room – if you need some time out.
  • Farmyard – plant, tend to and grow your veggies, collect eggs from our free-range chickens, have a cuddle with one of our friendly bunnies. We also have some special “furry” guests that visit us from time to time.
  • Supportive and caring staff to help you.
  • Respite care.
