What Is Short Term Accommodation?
Short Term Accommodation (STA) is a temporary supported accommodation for up to 6 weeks which is available through the Core funding of your plan.
STA services are quality respite programs where you will be looked after in a caring and supported environment. A perfect “home away from home” that you can enjoy over a weekend or a few weeks.
Short Term Accommodation is like a home away from home. A stay with us gives you the chance to meet new people, try new things, learn some new skills and be provided with the very best care and support. STA also serves as respite which means your family or carer can get some time to unwind too. It’s a win-win for everyone!
We understand that the unexpected happens. A sudden change in circumstance, an illness, a crisis or your carer may be unavailable for a short time. During these times, we are here to support you to have access to safe accommodation where you can receive the care you require.
