Supported Individual Living (SIL)

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living, commonly referred to as SIL, is a type of disability accommodation that provides individuals with the living support they need to carry out daily tasks and live as independently as possible. Specifically designed for people with high support needs, this service is available through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Live and Learn Group in Penrith is proud to offer SIL, aimed at fostering a sense of community and personal growth.

We can provide SIL services in a variety of locations which are designed to support residents to develop their independence and participate in various activities and programs. The priority of our experienced carers is to ensure that each participant feels included, happy and safe.
